Won with One is a national triathlon club for blind/visually impaired athletes and sighted guides. Run by its Founder, Jan Ditchfield, Head Development Coach, Cathy Rober and a dynamic Board of Directors; our unique club supports the athletic pursuits of our members and offers peer mentoring.
Won with One is focused on empowering people using triathlon as the catalyst. Access to sport for the blind and visually impaired community is not based on lack of ability, but rather a lack of opportunity. Won with One strives to provide those opportunities so all persons are able to compete as equals.
With the assistance of a sighted guide, athletes in our club swim, bike on a tandem and run in all distances from Try-a-Tri to Ironman. The unique partnership between athletes and guides is built on trust and mutual respect for the sport and the athlete's personal race goals. Whether competing for a time or just for fun - Won with One is dedicated to supporting its club members on and off the race course.
